Hi coach
any ideas on how to lower my putting average? I have about 40 putts per round.

HI Ed,
Great question since putting makes up roughly 43% of our score. As I usually tell students, to stroke a good put you need good distance and good direction. I suspect that your high putting average (should be around 36) is caused by a bad first putt, leaving you with too much work on the second putt. Your goal should be to leave your first putt no longer than a putter length (around 34″) from the hole. The best way to do this is to focus on your distance control and zero in on the length of your putting stroke. I have a specialized Putting Building Block that is guaranteed to help you become a better putter. Check it out here or you can book a coaching session with me here. Best of luck!
